Collection: Idaho
100% American-made Idaho state flags
Idaho was the territory everyone always wanted. The United States and Britain had fiery disputes over a claim to Idaho before the Oregon Treaty resolved in our favor. Then Washington Territory and Oregon Country couldn't agree on to whom Idaho belonged. Finally, Idaho Territory struck out on her own and, 27 years later on July 3, 1890, became the 43rd state to be admitted to the Union.
Idaho's potatoes are world famous, but its nickname is The Gem State — a reference to its reputation for gemstones, and to the tremendous array of geography types Idaho offers. From the Rocky Mountains to the Snake River Plain, Idaho has beautiful varieties of every terrain type in between. A testament to this, the United States Forest Service holds nearly 40% of Idaho's land — the most of any state!
