In 1982, my father, Arthur Zakharian realized his American dream by opening LIBERTY FLAGS, The American Wave®.
What started out over 35 years ago as a very small business selling American Flags out of our home dining room, has now grown into a beautiful showroom and warehouse in Tulsa, Oklahoma, and a large web presence supplying American Flags across the United States.
Art Zakharian opened LIBERTY FLAGS, The American Wave® based on the principle that the company would never sell a foreign-made American Flag. To this day, we only sell 100% American-made Flags—exceptional merchandise that is made in America with American-made materials.
We believe that if American Flags were to stop being made in America, we would have to shut our doors entirely.
Arthur was a patriotic man and loved the United States. He passed down to his family his love for this country and taught us to respect the American Flag. It is our goal to share with all of our customers that same passion and respect for our Flag.
